[SOLVED] Pull Down Selection for Tournament Scenarios

I'm sure I'm missing a setting somewhere, but I remember in the past a pull down option for Tournament Scenarios. That's not showing up on my page (there are links at the bottom of the report).

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Oh, just a list showing the names of who just got imported? It's a check box in the 'Load Web Picks' window. There are three checkboxes and 'View Add List' is one of them.

I remember there being a choice (I think) to have a txt file emailed to you after each download, but I don't remember where it is. You can manually download by going to Remote -->TT.com Control Panel -> Check Status, then under the 'Retrieved entries' area, click 'Download'.

The 27 was because there were 27 entrants at the time of my post. I can see where the two columns are listed in your code. You want the first column to be the "odd" numbered entrants and the second column to be the even numbered ones, right?

$i is the number of the entry, correct? so $i=1 is the first entry and $i=27 is the last entry. Do I have that right? You should be able to highlight the text with your mouse, right click, then select 'copy'. You can then paste in the message here. That will show us the scheduler log results. I always get them confused. If that's not it, I think there's a place during 'Deploy via web' where you can type in notes.

Try:

Tournament -> Tournament Setup. A 32 team pool is a choice (at least in TT Pro). However, I don't know if you can download pairings/results. Everything might have to be entered by hand.

Scheduler WILL run if the program is open. You just won't see results in the open program (you'd have to close, not save, then reopen the program to see results).

Look in Tools -> Schedule Organizer.

Two things... make sure the radio button is set to 'Recurs Every' and not 'Once A Day'

What is listed under 'Pools Included In The Schedule'?

I have been on the message board for much of the last 4 days on two different computers, and have not been kicked off once.

I understand your frustration. I do want to point out some advantages that I don't believe the other sites support... 1) Second Chance pool (create a 16 team pool after the first weekend of games is complete) 2) Various Reports Champions Summary (A list of how many people picked a team to win it all...

In a word, yes. It's only once the tournament starts (and you set up the scheduler) that things become "automatic".

I have not had any complaints on my pool. I think one person posted about a similar problem, but it was tracked down that all the people not getting their picks were on yahoo, and they were being delivered, just extremely slow.
