Re: Past Year's Versions

Yep, it was just a setting that didn't get cleared out correctly from last year. Glad that worked for you!

Re: Past Year's Versions

Ok I think I found what the issue was and uploaded an updated MSI installer. Please un-install the 2019 version, install the 2018 version and then download and install 2019 from the new MSI installer: http://www.turbotourney.com/download/tt2019/turbotourney2019.msi I think that should work. Let me k...

Re: Past Year's Versions

It's different this year because I am code signing the files in a new way, it shouldn't have any impact on the installer itself tho and like I said when I installed with previous versions installed it left all of them in tact, all the way back to 2011 for me.

Re: Past Year's Versions

There's been no change in how the installer works so I'm surprised that would be what you're seeing. I just tried installing both TT and TT Pro 2019 on a computer with both TT and TT Pro 2018 and after the installations both of the 2018 versions are still on the desktop and work as expected. Are you...

Re: TT email issue

Have you confirmed if your ISP is now requiring Secure SMTP? If so there really isn't as the software does not support that protocol unfortunately.

Re: TT email issue

If you select the View menu, then Preferences and click on the Mail tab what is your Mail Type set to? I am using TT (TT Mail) and mail is being sent with no problem at all. It sounds like you might be using SMTP and sending mail through your own ISP who must have recently changed their requirement ...

Jim, I would go into the spreads and remove the spread for that game so it can be recorded as an official tie. See if that helps.

Re: NFL Template for 2018

Can you just send your pool file as an attachment to support@turbotourney.com so I can have a look at it. I'm confused by what's being discussed and I need to see the exact wording of the messages to know what the problem is.

Re: NFL Template for 2018

Can you select the Tournament menu, then Setup and see what template type you are using? It should be NFL Season (Week 1) so I'm wondering if you maybe converted a 2017 pool file from Week 17 and so you have the wrong week setup in your pool.

Re: 2018 NFL Survivor Pool

We always use the Sunday Night game that week as the tie breaker but they don't announce that game until usually the week before so you won't know the exact game but you can just put SNF Game Total Points as the tie breaker. I think last year was an anomaly when they decided not to have a sunday nig...

Re: Underdog Scoring Not Working Consistently

I think I just replied to your email as well but all of these example are correct. The player doesn't have to pick the exact matchup, they just have to pick a team to win as an underdog and that team must win as an underdog. In example 1, Loyola over Cincinnati is an underdog pick. Loyola beat Nevad...

Re: Unable to update results or build website

If restarting your computer doesn't fix this I would suggest just try running the installer again and see if that fixes it. It's odd you would get this now unless you have installed/uninstalled something else on your computer recently.

Select the Reports menu, then Report Setup and select the Player Picks report. There is a strikethrough option there.

Re: Database Connection

Fred, if you select the File menu then find the Shared Application Data Folder and click on the folder icon that will open that location and there should be a "db" folder. In there you will find the .mdb file.

I'm really not sure where that would be coming from. This is what I am seeing. I also checked the code and all the report files that get written are all lower-case.
