Re: Cancelled bowl game

Great question! I am not running a confidence pool, so this may not be of any help to you. Since the game was declared "no contest," the game never happened. My pool awards points for correct picks and bonus points for making correct underdog picks. Since the game never happened, in my opinion no po...

Re: 2018 NFL Survivor Pool: Home/Away pairings incorrect

Update - changing the setting from "Top" team to "Bottom" team fixed the problem. After a "building the website" a few times the pairings were corrected. I'm still not sure why the change was not immediately displayed because I clear the browser cache every time I post updates. Regardless, it works....

2018 NFL Survivor Pool: Home/Away pairings incorrect

The Home and Away pairings in the template for Week 1 of the NFL 2018 are reversed. In the template Home is set as the "Top" team, but it is actually the Away team. I tried changing the setting so the "Bottom" team is the Home team, but this did not work. Please let me know how to fix this issue and...

2018 NFL Survivor Pool

Hey Doug, Which game in week 17 of the NFL's 2018 regular season will be used as the tie break game? I know that's a long way off, but if you know the tie break game I'll include it in my instructions. If not, no worries. I hosted a 2-and-out NFL survivor pool last year for family and friends and ev...

2018 NBA Playoff Seeding Incorrect

Just noticed the wrong seeds are listed for Utah and Oklahoma in the Western Conference. The TT pairings have Utah as #4 and Oklahoma as #5. This should be reversed so that OKC is #4 and the Utah #5. I used Underdog Seed Differential Scoring so I fixed the seeds in my bracket. Not sure if others are...

Re: JettNet.ORG

Fred, thanks for the feedback. I use TT's database feature to create the report in Access and then Visual Basic to write the html report. I use the same process to create the Lifetime Standings reports. It's somewhat complicated to set up, but everything runs very nicely now. This year I created VBS...

Hi Fred,
You can delete All Players, but I do not know of a way to delete a selected group of Players. I might be able to provide more help if you let me know exactly what you're trying to accomplish.
Best,

Re: Pool Within A Pool

Hey Fred, The Configurable Standings Report only sorts data and does not provide filter functionality. So, you will need to manually delete the rows you do not want to display in your report. You can rename the filename of the Configurable Standings Report (and any report) by selecting Reports on th...

JettNet.ORG's premier tournament is the NCAA's March Madness tournament and we've been hosting that bracket for 16 years, but we're also experimenting with other brackets. We host all of our tournaments just to have fun with family and friends, so we don't charge an entry fee and we do not pay out c...

Re: reports

Yes, you can create this report.
Go to Reports / Configurable Standings.

As you can see in Report Selection menu, the Configurable Standings Report allows you to sort by several criteria. Several options allow you to export, view, or print the report. Hope this helps.

Re: How to Update Homepage Only

Sorry for not including the correct html code. I was doing this from memory (always a bad idea) and forgot a very important piece of the code. You'll need to use an iframe to make this work. Here's an example of the code I use. <iframe id="TTNews" src="http://yourpathname/yourfilename.htm" scrolling...

I ran into a similar situation with my company's firewall a few years ago and agree with Phil that Teamviewer is a very good work-around. I am able to run TT on my home PC using my iPhone and iPad.

Re: How to Update Homepage Only

If I understand your question correctly, I think I can help. I am able to update the Tournament News Report without running a Build Web on TT. In fact, I can update my tournament news file without using TT at all. One caveat, I run my own website and am not using TT's Internet Add-on. The following ...

Here’s something I use with success. I run my own internet site and use “Basic” “Deploy by Web” option that’s located under Remote in the menu. Under Remote, I download player picks using the “Load Picks From TurboTourney.com” option. After selecting “Download Again” and then “Start Import,” I impor...

You might try using the Player Info 1 and Player Info 2 fields to prompt your users for their first and last names. To set up those fields look in Tournament/Options/Players.

I took a look at your code and while I am not an html expert, I do use frames on my tournament site. I am not using drop down menus (and I really like your application), it looks like your html code is similar to mine with one exception. Maybe if you add <base target="mainarea" /> within the head of...
