Unable to download results

Have used program for years. Worked OK for first round but now the "download result" doesn't automatically updated game results. Potentially related scheduler makes no changes.

If you have the TT program open while the scheduler runs it should update but the TT program won't reflect it.

But you should be able to download the results and see them.

I would say save the current *.tt file using the SAVE AS function and use a different name, preserving your current *.tt file. Then close out the TT program and reopen, see if the updated results show.

Also, is your web site updating?
Are you getting any kind of error messages?
What are the specific steps you are taking when you are doing things.

Do you have a backup of your *.tt file??? If not save a 2nd copy somewhere other than your computer, use a flash drive or something, don't wait do it now!! Do it any time you make a change or import new entries.

I will try renaming file. TT was closed when scheduler was supposed to work, but website hadn't updated. I manually entered winners and built website, and it worked.

Unfortunately did not work. I will just enter the games manually. I do round by round so maybe next round's file will work better, unless you have any other ideas. Thanks for trying.

Do you have a firewall on by any chance?
Do you get an error message when you try to download the results?
Did you download the pairings or manually enter them?

You can also look at your scheduler log and see what it says.

Last, look at Tools -> Schedule. What does it have for # Games played? I'm wondering if you converted last year's file and didn't clear out the # Games played.
