Is there a way to show the comments players left when submitting picks on the player listing report? This is where several people leave who will be paying for their bracket.

I am not aware of any way to do that, the only way I am aware of is during the import process, or by viewing the player in the TT program afterwards and seeing those comments. Maybe Doug, or one of the other guys is aware of something I might have forgotten though.

Do you have a backup of your *.tt file??? If not save a 2nd copy somewhere other than your computer, use a flash drive or something, don't wait do it now!! Do it any time you make a change or import new entries.

If your files are on a webhost or you host your own, you can use the attached php file that will pull the player name, the team they picked to win it all, the tiebreaker points, any comments they may have left and the time the picks were submitted. You will have to change the name of your .ttw file found on line 19 of the attached file. Also, as it stands, this file should be in the directory that holds the .ttw file. Not that this is for the Sweet 16 pool, but can be adapted to the regular 64 team tournament as well.

Here is the code as it will not let me upload a php file.

Code: Select all

<?php
$team[0] = "Kansas St";
$team[4] = "Kentucky";
$team[8] = "Loyola, Chi";
$team[12] = "Nevada";
$team[16] = "Florida St";
$team[20] = "Gonzaga";
$team[24] = "Michigan";
$team[28] = "Texas AM";
$team[32] = "Villanova";
$team[36] = "W. Virginia";
$team[40] = "Texas Tech";
$team[44] = "Purdue";
$team[48] = "Kansas";
$team[52] = "Clemson";
$team[56] = "ASU/Syr";
$team[60] = "Duke";
// Change this file to match your tournament picks file
$file = "playerpicks18_sw16.ttw";
echo "<body bgcolor=#e3e3e3>";
echo "<center>";
echo "<font size=4 color=#ff0000 face=tahoma><b>Tournament Tracker 2017 - Sweet 16  " ;
echo "<br>";
if (file_exists($file)) {
   $data = file_get_contents($file);
   $num = preg_match_all("/PLAYERID=(.*),PLAYERINFO1=(.*),PLAYERINFO2=(.*),PLAYERINFO3=(.*),PLAYERINFO4=(.*),PLAYERINFO5=(.*),G1=.*,G15=(.*),TIEBREAKER=(.*),PLAYERCOMMENT=(.*),SUBMITTED=(.*),TIMESTAMP=(.*)/i", $data, $matches);
   echo "<font size=2 color=#000000>Total Number Of Submitted Player Picks: ";
   echo $num, "<br>";
   echo "<div align=center>";
   echo "<center>";
