Tournament Size

Postby Pizzaman » Tue Jun 20, 2017 9:21 am

I'm trying to set up a Monday Night Game pool.
Using custom tournament, I can't set the tournament size to 2 even though it says "between 2 and 64".
Any chance this can be changed?

Did you try and change the settings in there from Bracket to Head-to-Head and see if that works?

Do you have a backup of your *.tt file??? If not save a 2nd copy somewhere other than your computer, use a flash drive or something, don't wait do it now!! Do it any time you make a change or import new entries.

Yes. It's head-to-head.

I just tried it as bracket and it works for me with 2 teams, but it did fail on head-to-head.

Yeah head-to-head must require 4 teams minimally and bracket is 2. I just don't think we see a ton of pools that involve 2 teams.

A Monday Night Game pool would involve 4 teams the 1st week and 2 teams for the rest of the season (16 weeks).
I don't think a bracket format could work. Head-to-head would.

Hell, I've even considered a Sunday Night Game pool and a Thursday Night Game pool.
No go? C'mon guys . . .

Would it work to try using head-to-head 4 teams for the first week and then switch to 2-team bracket for the rest of the season? I don't think there is any difference between the two if you are doing a 2-team pool.

I want to use point spreads. Bracket format doesn't allow point spreads.
