Error Code 530 - Switched Email to Outlook.com

Hello

I switched email providers from GoDaddy to Outlook.com this past year. Outlook is providing me with their SMTP server for sending mail, and says to use port 587. It also says to use TLS, but I do not see an option for TLS. I am getting an error message "530 5.7.57 SMTP Client was not authenticated to send anonymous mail during MAIL FROM". Just wondering if someone has had success setting up their email on an Outlook.com account. I would like to use the built in tools, but may have to use mail chimp. I read Outlook.com has a 30 message per minute limit. That won't work for me.

Try View -> Preferences -> Mail.

Under 'Authentication', check 'Login' and put your username and password.

Of course, this won't help with the 30 message/minute limit, but nothing TT can do about that.
